Urania Dagalakis, MD, MHSc, specializes in pediatric oncology and hematology. She completed her clinical training at Johns Hopkins University and conducted her research work within the National Cancer Institute of the National Institutes of Health. Due to her research background she specializes in caring for children with rare tumors and hereditary cancer syndromes.

Dr. Dagalakis is the director of the Cancer Genetics Clinic at Children’s National Hospital. She is also an assistant professor of pediatrics at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and a physician in the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders. She is committed to empowering families with knowledge, supporting survivorship and leading innovations in personalized cancer care. Her work bridges compassionate patient care with clinical research focused on improving outcomes for children with genetic cancer predispositions.
