Travel Vaccines at Children’s National Specialty Pharmacy

We offer travel vaccines for kids, teens, and also adults by appointment only. We recommend booking 4–6 weeks before your trip so the vaccines have time to work.

Who Can Get Travel Vaccines

• Under age 7: Please visit your child’s primary care doctor or a travel clinic.
• Ages 7–17: Please bring a prescription or have one sent over from your doctor.
• 18 and older: No prescription needed.

We currently provide the following vaccines for travel:

• Hepatitis A  
• Hepatitis B  
• Japanese Encephalitis  
• Meningococcal  
• Polio  
• Tick-Borne Encephalitis (TBE)  
• Typhoid  
• Yellow Fever  
• MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)  

Costs & Insurance

Please note that some vaccines may not be covered by insurance. We’ll check your coverage and provide pricing ahead of time. We accept cash and credit cards.
