Tanya Payne is a dedicated board-certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience specializing in acute and critical care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on pediatric acute and chronic care. Throughout her career, Tanya has held advanced clinical roles at top institutions, including Yale New Haven Hospital and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she served as a specialized float and SWAT nurse across high-acuity units such as the PICU, NICU and CICU.

In her current role at Children’s National, she provides expert care in the Department of General and Thoracic Surgery and serves as a key provider in the Chest Wall Defects program.
