Shaunte McKay, MD, is a physician who treats all general pediatric gastrointestinal disorders with a special interest in motility disorders. Dr. McKay completed her pediatric residency at Duke University Hospital in Durham, NC and her Pediatric gastroenterology fellowship at Northwestern's Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago in Chicago, IL. 

Dr. McKay is passionate about both patient care and reducing health inequalities within medicine through health disparities research and diversity,equity and inclusion advocacy. Through her contributions to health disparities work she has been the recipient of numerous awards including the John Edwards Jones Memorial Scholarship Award, the SNMA Excellence in Minority Recruitment Award, the Michelle P. Winn Diversity and Inclusion Award and the Del Wigfall Community Service Award.
