Sarah Green, DNP, is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner in the Blood and Marrow Transplantation Program at Children's National Hospital. Green received her bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Connecticut, her advanced practice nursing degree from the University of Pennsylvania with a pediatric acute care concentration, and her doctor of nursing practice degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She is an active member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners serving as a National Health Policy Committee member. Her clinical experience has focused on the care of oncology, bone and marrow transplant and immunology patients and their families. Her scholarship and presentations have focused on palliative care education, child health policy advocacy, retinoblastoma and healthcare professional well-being.
