About the Provider

Olivia Ackerman, PPCNP, is a nurse practitioner who was born and raised in the Maryland and Washington, D.C., area. She attended Elon University in North Carolina, where she completed undergraduate studies with a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and triple minor degrees in neuroscience, anthropology and African–American studies. Immediately following college, Olivia pursued a joint bachelor's and master's of science in nursing degree in an accelerated, advance practice registered nurse program at Yale University. She then returned to Washington, D.C., after graduate school where she began her career as a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Children’s National Hospital Division of Allergy and Immunology.

Outside of work, Olivia is passionate about the arts and enjoys painting, photography, live music and visiting local galleries. She also loves traveling and hiking and hopes to experience new parts of the world each year.
