About the Provider
Nasima Nusrat, MD, attended Chittagong University in Chittagong, Bangladesh, receiving her medical training prior to moving to the United States. She completed her residency in general psychiatry at the Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va., in July 2001. In 2003, she completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Children’s National. Dr. Nusrat has also volunteered with the American Red Cross and the Walter Reed National Medical Center.
Currently, she serves as the medical unit director for the Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit. She is board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
