About the Provider
Maureen Monaghan, PhD, CDCES, is a clinical and pediatric psychologist and a certified diabetes educator. She is also research faculty with the Center for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science. She is associate professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.
Dr. Monaghan provides psychology services for children, adolescents, young adults and families with urologic concerns. She also is the psychologist for the Positive Reevaluation of Urogenital Differences (PROUD) clinic. Her clinical and research interests include pediatric urology, adherence to medical regimens, parenting support and helping navigate the transition from pediatric to adult care.
Dr. Monaghan is dedicated to ensuring that youth and families have the skills and confidence needed to meet important developmental and health-related milestones.
