About the Provider

Matthew LaCroix, NP, grew up outside of Boston. His first connection to Children's National came through his time at the University of Maryland, studying bioengineering.

At Maryland, LaCroix became an active member in Terp Thon, a philanthropic organization that fundraises for Children's National. From there, he pursued a career in software prior to making his switch into nursing.

LaCroix’s healthcare career started at Boston Children's Hospital, where he spent five years in the inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit. Then, his family returned to Maryland, where he started his role as an outpatient Neuro-oncology nurse practitioner at Children’s National.

His hobbies include Boston sports, running, hiking, music and comedy shows.
