Tucker L.C. Pyle, MD, PhD, MSTR, is a clinical geneticist and physician scientist specializing in genetics of genitourinary (GU) differences and cancer. They completed their pediatrics and medical genetics training at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) in 2016.

Dr. Pyle’s clinical focus is diagnostic evaluation and care for individuals with intersex traits and variations of sexual characteristics (also sometimes called differences of sex development). They founded the medical clinical for I/VSC at CHOP in 2016, and now directs the Children's National PROUD Clinic for people with I/VSCs. Dr. Pyle focuses on multidisciplinary integration, molecular diagnosis and cancer predisposition counseling for patients and their families. Dr. Pyle is also a specialist in X and Y chromosomes, and sees people clinically with these differences, including in the Prenatal Pediatrics Institute and the Turner Syndrome Program. Dr. Pyle also directs the Children's National Klinefelter (XXY) Program and the GoRAD Laboratory.

Dr. Pyle’s research applies genomics and human models to understand vulnerability to infertility and germ cell tumor (GCT). They have identified and characterized clinical risk factors that predispose people to GCT by learning from and studying individuals diagnosed with this malignancy, as well as patients carrying a diagnosis of I/VSC. Dr. Pyle’s goal is to supply new tools that will facilitate improved care for people with I/VSC's.
