About the Provider

Kevin Lloyd, MD, is an infectious diseases specialist in the Division of Infectious Diseases at Children's National Hospital in Washington, D.C., and an assistant professor of Pediatrics at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Dr. Lloyd serves as the assistant medical director of the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program at Children's National. His main research interests include diagnostic and antimicrobial stewardship, while his clinical interests focus on the rapid diagnosis and optimal treatment of antimicrobial-resistant infections, as well as medical education.

Dr. Lloyd is an active member of the Pediatric Infectious Diseases Society. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, cycling, and hiking with family, friends and his dog.
