About the Provider
John S. Myseros, MD, is a senior pediatric neurosurgeon who joined Children’s National in 2004 and has been in practice since 1997. He has clinical and surgical expertise in and published manuscripts and textbook chapters on practically every aspect of pediatric neurosurgery, including tumors of the brain and spinal cord, craniofacial and tethered cord surgery, and vascular neurosurgery. Dr. Myseros has vast experience in and a national and international reputation and referral for brain tumors in children. He plays a vital and collaborative role in the world-class Brain Tumor Institute at Children's National.
As part of the dynamic, cutting-edge and world-renowned Division of Neurosurgery, Dr. Myseros is a professor of Neurosurgery and Pediatrics and the vice chief of the division. He sees patients at the main hospital in Washington, D.C., as well the neurosurgical office in Fairfax, VA.
