About the Provider
John Myseros, MD, came to Children’s National Hospital from Cincinnati Children’s Hospital in 2004. As Vice Chief and Professor of Neurosurgery, he cares for all children with neurosurgical diseases, with particular interest in the surgical treatment of tumors of the brain and spinal cord, chiari malformations, spina bifida and tethered cords, as well as vascular malformations and craniosynostosis. He has published on all of these conditions, and is an integral part of the dynamic and cutting-edge neurosurgical department at Children’s National. He is passionate about the care of our patients and their families.
In addition to his robust practice in Washington, D.C., with regional, national and international referrals, Dr. Myseros has an office in Fairfax, Virginia, where he cares for patients both in-office consultation and at Inova Children’s Hospital. Dr. Myseros also serves as a Professor in Neurosurgery and Pediatrics.
