About the Provider

Jennifer Rathe, MD, PhD, has clinical expertise and interests focusing on infections in solid organ and bone marrow transplant patients as well children with immune deficiencies. She works alongside Benjamin Hanisch, MD, to provide personalized care for complicated infections in these vulnerable populations. 

Dr. Rathe’s research interests include viral and fungal infections in transplant patients. She is working to develop risk assessment tools to help guide clinical decision making for complicated infections in pediatric transplant populations. 

In her free time, Dr. Rathe enjoys stand-up comedy, hiking and kayaking.
