About the Provider

Greer S. Gavins, NP, has been a member of our team at Children’s National Pediatricians & Associates (CNPA) since May 2013. She relocated from New Orleans, Louisiana. Greer comes to us with extensive experience in the underprivileged areas of New Orleans providing free healthcare to children via a mobile medical clinic. Mrs. Gavins received her undergraduate degree from Xavier University of LA in Biology/Premed and her nursing degree from Our Lady of the Lake College. She completed her family nurse practitioner training at Loyola University New Orleans. Her registered nurse experience prior to completing her nurse practitioner degree includes the well-baby nursery, postpartum and the neonatal intensive care unit. Mrs. Gavins and her southern charm bring a breath of fresh air to our office. Her special interests include caring for children of all ages.
