About the Provider

Edward Sepe, MD, is a primary care pediatrician at Children’s National Pediatricians and Associates (CNPA). He staffs clinics at both CNPA Foggy Bottom and CNPA Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.

He completed his residency at Children’s National and has been here for more than 20 years. In addition to primary care, Dr. Sepe has led the primary care track as associate program director since 2009. During his time, the track has grown in size and adapted its curriculum to meet numerous residency requirements. His academic interests include medical informatics, quality improvement, psychiatry and substance abuse.

In 2022, he became medical director of informatics for the CNPA network after 15 years serving as chief informatics officer for CNPA. He led CNPA through their digital integration and transition of their electronic health record in 2022 and continues to optimize the system for Children's National at large.

Dr. Sepe currently lives in northwest Washington D.C., with his husband and daughter and enjoys fitness, gardening, cooking and natural history. He also enjoys traveling to California when he can to visit his family.
