Cristal I. Hernandez-Hernandez, MD, earned her medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Puerto Rico. She completed her residency in pediatrics at Children’s National in Washington, D.C., followed by a residency in clinical genetics and genomics at the National Institutes of Health–National Human Genome Research Institute in Bethesda, Maryland. Dr. Hernandez-Hernandez is board certified in pediatrics and clinical genetics and genomics. Her professional interests include dysmorphology, prenatal genetics and genetic skeletal disorders.
