Brad Taicher, DO, is chief of the Division of Anesthesiology, Pain and Perioperative Medicine at Children's National Hospital. He comes from Duke Children's Hospital and Health Center in Durham, N.C., where he held several critical positions, including medical director for Quality and Safety in Children’s Anesthesia, director of Anesthesia Patient Safety and Quality, assistant director of Anesthesia Perioperative Services and medical director of Pediatric Perioperative Services. Dr. Taicher earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Delaware County Memorial Hospital and Thomas Jefferson University, followed by a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.
