Ashley Maxie-Moreman, PhD, is a licensed clinical psychologist in the Whole Bear Care program at Children's National Hospital. Dr. Maxie-Moreman specializes in the emotional, behavioral and cognitive aspects of patients' health. She works within integrated primary care teams providing mental health support services at Children’s National locations in southeast D.C.
Dr. Maxie-Moreman holds a faculty appointment as an assistant professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and of Pediatrics at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Maxie-Moreman is also committed to advancing online/digital harms research. Her research is focused on intersectional online discrimination among multiply marginalized youth.
