About the Provider

Katie McHugh, CPNP-AC, is a pediatric nurse practitioner with the Leukemia and Lymphoma and Histiocytosis Programs within the Children’s National Cancer and Blood Disorders Center. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina in 2007, holds a master’s degree from the University of Maryland, and earned her nurse practitioner degree from the University of Virginia. She has worked in pediatric oncology for over a decade and a half. She is an active board member of the Washington, D.C., chapter of the Association of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurses. Outside of work, she enjoys running, gardening and cheering on the Tar Heels during basketball season.
